Hey guys! This is my absolute first time to ever try this. I was asleep and dreamed a wacko tale which you are about to read! ^^'
BANG!!!!!
“Noooo!! Not again!” A nicely sized girl sighed as she waved her hand about, trying to clear the smoke that was issuing from a small metal box on the wooden table at her side. “Stupid machine.” She muttered as she worked her way to the window and shoved it open to let the smoke out and fresh air in. The girl sat back and wiped her brow on the back of her sleeve, her eye catching a glimpse of herself in the mirror. “Great, I just took a bath!”
A knock on the door made the child jump up. “Yuh, yes! Come in!” She said quickly, the door opened slowly to show an elder man with worry wrinkles all about his face. “Are you alright sweetie? I heard a rather loud boom…”
“No, no, I’m absolutely fine Papa.” The girl said quickly as she grinned sheepishly, tugging at her ash strewn shirt. The man laughed a quiet and aged laugh, “Oh alright, go clean up, it’s nearly dinner time, remember the guests we are to be having tonight?” The girl’s eyes widened. “Oh my! I completely forgot!!” She jumped past the man to her room across the hall. “Amy! Their bringing their son as well, they had just called, they want you to meet him dearest!”
Amy grabbed up her clothing and jumped back down the hall to her bathroom. “So that’s who was on the phone huh? Okay, I’ll be done soon enough!” Amy quickly closed the door and stormed out of her cloths in a whirl-wind of smoke and soot. She thrust the cloths down deep in her hamper before turning on the hot water and closing the shower curtain.
Amy soon finished her shower and dried off quickly, hearing people arriving. “No, no, no!” She muttered as she brushed her short black hair free of tangles. She smiled at a girl who stood five feet and six inches tall. Her skin was nicely tanned, her brown eyes warm and happy. Amy ran her fingers through her wet hair again before she turned and unlocked the door. She slipped on her brown loafers as she raced down the stairs, hearing her mother and father talking with a pleasant sounding group of at least three.
A plump short man with a balding crown stood in front of Amy’s father, talking with pleasant gestures and happy smiles. A skinny woman with her gray hair tied in a tight bun stood with Amy’s mother, talking about gardening and the outdoors. Amy’s eyes fell across a boy not two years older then Amy’s 15 years of age just gaping at her. Amy blushed and quietly walked up to the boy, hands folded neatly at her waist. “Hello.” The boy said in a quiet tone, making Amy smile up at the boy. Everyone of the Lawton family was dressed very richly, making Amy feel small and insignificant.
“Hello there, I’m Amy.” She said in equal quietness, shaking the boy’s hand. The boy smiled as Amy asked his name. “Then you truly don’t remember me?” Amy frowned softly up at the boy, wondering what he was talking about. Then…
“Lee?” Amy asked quietly, peering up into the face of the boy who was grinning even broader now. Amy smiled back. “Lee! It IS you.” She said and hugged him fiercely, Lee hugged back happily. “What have you been up to?” Amy asked excitedly.
“This and that. I was accepted into Leaks worthy All Boy’s Academy, the school I used to tell you about…and I guess I got too wrapped up in my studies.” Lee scratched his ear sheepishly smiling down at his old best friend. Amy shook her head and laughed quietly, the same laugh her father had. “Well it’s about time you got back.” Amy and Lee smiled at each other, taking in the sight of each other, wondering at how they had grown up so much.
“Dinner time!” Amy’s mother said suddenly, making Amy and Lee both jump. Once they had landed back on earth, everyone laughed and made their way to the dinning room.
Dinner was over quickly and the grown ups went out back to look at the yard work Amy’s parents had been doing. Amy and Lee, meanwhile, went upstairs to Amy’s workroom to look at the box Amy had been working on not to long ago.
“Wow, what is it?” “I know this is going to sound weird but this is supposed to be like a virtual reality chamber. But instead of fantasy realms, you can play major roles in history instead.” Amy said, lifting up a helmet with cords and exposed wires hanging from it. “But it’s not working yet.” Lee grinned at Amy. “Well, let me have a look, maybe we can get it working here…..”
The Lawton’s family left soon after, but extended an invitation for Amy to come over the very next day so she and Lee could work on the ‘Time Traveler’ on their summer vacation time off. Amy cleaned up and fell asleep quiet happy and content, waiting for the night to pass quickly.

Amy woke up bright and early, quickly getting showered and dressed. By the time she had gotten downstairs and finished eating the door bell rang. Amy rushed over to the door and opened it, smiling at Lee. “You ready Amy?” Amy nodded happily and said goodbye to her parents before leaving with Lee. The two of you headed for a black Town and Country car that his mother was driving. Once the two were seated and buckled up Mrs. Lawton drove away to the Lawton home.
The Lawton home was a huge place with lush flora every where. Amy had seen it many times but it still took her breath away. “We’re here! Did you bring it?” Amy grinned and held up a bag holding everything she would need. “You bet!”
“Then let’s go!” Lee pulled Amy from the car and shot up the stairs to his workroom. “Okay set her here.” Lee said patting the table which had been recently cleaned.
An hour later Amy and Lee both grinned as they heard the machine turn on with the swirl of fans. “Let’s see if it works!!” Amy cried out and put her helmet on herself as Lee put his own on.

“Slave! Slave get up!” Amy moaned and opened her eyes slowly, putting a hand to her forehead. She was roughly pulled up by a hard hand. “Get up now yah bleach head. You have chores ta duh.” A hoarse man’s voice brought Amy fully away. “Wah…where m I?” She asked the room at large. “Shud up an get tah scrubben dat floor!” A tall, evil looking man threw Amy down onto the stone floor. Amy sat up once the man was gone and rubbed her sore hand and knee. “Ow…”
Amy looked around at her surroundings, becoming more and more apprehensive and curious by the minute. She seemed to be in an Indian home, by the Buddha idol in an candle light alcove and by the richly patterned rugs on the floor. Amy looked down at herself and found that she was roughly dressed in rags and much dirt. Amy frowned and sighed, guessing she better do as she was told. She picked up a scrub brush made of splintering wood and pig bristles. The soap made her skin crack and was no doubt the kind of soap the pioneers used, Amy could not think of the name at the moment.
*Lee’s Pov*
A soft rapping of the door woke Lee up to find himself laying on something so soft he almost didn’t want to get up. “My prince?” A kindly voice called out from the other side of a door. Lee frowned and opened his eyes as he sat up, my prince? Then he looked around, gaping at his surroundings. Lee seemed to be some where in India from the seen of Tasmahall outside his window. He looked around, wondering what had happened to Amy and why he was at this place now.
“My prince must wake up, begging my pardon.” A tiny shriveled old woman said, barely being able to peer up at Lee from over the bed. She looked to be only four feet tall, but seemed to have been very pretty at her prime in life. “Come, you must attend your feast! You’re very late, begging your Highness’ pardon.” Lee frowned but played along. “I seemed to have forgotten which feast is today, would you refresh me?” He asked, surprising himself that he spoke in the same language.
The woman had undressed and redressed Lee before he even knew she was taking his clothes from him. “Tis the feast of the commons. The feast twill be taken in the court of the commoner’s square. Your nobles have kindly given you their slaves to use for this morning, begging you Highness’ pardon.” The woman said as she quickly put a turban on Lee’s head. “Begging your highness’ pardon, you must move quickly!”
*Back to Amy*
Amy got up slowly to face her, once again, angry ‘master’. “Ged dressed in dis. You gettah tend to the royal table t’day.” The man said gruffly as he shoved a bundle of red gauzy cloth into Amy’s hands. Amy frowned as she went back to the cellar that served as her sleeping quarters/storage room, and quickly undressed and redressed in the clothes she had been given. Amy looked down at herself, frowning at her exposed midriff and how much skin she was exposing. Then she snorted. “Well there yah go Jasmine..” She mumbled, thinking herself dressed much like the Indian princess of Disney’s movie.
An hour later found Amy and a huge bundle of other slaves all in line to gather plates, cups, jugs, and dishes to be served to the royal family, their house hold, and the nobles. Amy got the wine jug and found it easier to hold on her head like every other woman had done. The instruments sounded and a few slaves were picked to dance, Amy’s wine jug was taken from her by a grizzly man who thrust her into the dance as well. Amy smiled as she found she some how had all these memories, the dance included. The pace quickened, making a few slaves stumble, but Amy grinned as she found herself shaking her hips and tossing her hair in the exuberant dance, the tambourines playing loudly.
*Lee’s turn*
Lee smiled and vaguely participated in conversations when he wasn’t eating or watching with almost hungrily eyes as the dancers showed off their bodies in the fast dances. He watched as more and more woman were thrown in and more and more lost their footing and received beatings from their masters. When Lee saw a master about to beat a woman, he waved his hand and the slave was thrust roughly back into the dance.
Lee was offered wine, which he refused, thinking it would be bad for him to get drunk in a foreign land. He was about to ask for water or whatever else they had when his eye caught a familiar face. “Ames..” He whispered, eyes widening.
He stood up and the music stopped suddenly. Lee turned to the old woman named Miriam and whispered in her ear. “Can I have the slaves lined up over there?” He asked. The woman nodded, silent questioning him with her eye brows. But she bowed and hurried off the masters who snapped their fingers or clapped their hands. Amy quickly followed everyone else as they lined up against the wall, hands folded neatly in front of them, eyes cast to the ground.

*Amy’s Pov *
Amy cast glances about before she copied the rest of the save woman. Her heart was racing as she heard the soft flap of expensive shoes grown closer. The shoes finally stopped in front of her, Amy swallowed her fear as a clean hand tipped her chin to look into the prince’s eyes. Amy’s own eyes widened at the sight, it was Lee’s face!
As Amy moved to say something Lee put his finger to his lips and gave two quick winks, before moving on. Amy’s heart was skipping beats now, daring to hope they could find their way out of this.
*Lee’s Pov*
As Lee walked down the rest of the slaves he nodded politely but touched few. Most were beautiful young girls that made Lee’s heart jump at the sight, but he already had a mission, he had to get Amy out of slavery. Lee turned to the crowd once he got to the end of the line and carefully put his hands behind his back, not daring a glance at the hopeful Amy.
“These are very fine slaves.” He said, drawing the attention to him even more so then it had been before. “Might I ask who…” He took Amy’s delicately by the hand and lead her from the line. “Who might own this slave here?”
A man in his late forties, richly dressed, stepped forward and bowed many low bows. “That tis my slave girl, your highness.” The oily man said, trying his best to refrain from his lazed speech he used when he was without company. Lee nodded. “How much for the slave then?” The oily man took a step back, surprise showing on his face. “How..how much?” Lee nodded slowly. “Yes, I would like to buy this slave from you.”
*Amy’s Pov*
Amy looked up at Lee when she heard she was to be sold, then at her ‘master’ as he cast around for the right words. “Your..your Highness, I couldn’t possibly….Ple..please, take her, she is a gift. May she be worth of your eyes and serve you well.” The man bowed again and hurried away. Amy smiled softly, but remembered to play her part, she knelt in the dirt and touched her forehead to the ground. “Your Highness in kind to see me.” Amy said in a clear but almost timid voice.
As Amy sat back on her knees, Lee reached down and tugged her to her feet again. Lee bent over and whispered something into a tiny old woman’s ear. Amy frowned slightly, wondering what the two were discussing but looked down at her feet and kept her hands folded neatly in front of her torso.
Lee nodded and touched Amy’s shoulder, making her look at him. With two fingers, he touched Amy’s forehead and called out in a large voice. “I proclaim this slave, a free woman!” The crowd gasped then timidly started to clap. Amy’s former master turned red in the face and stormed off, fuming about ignorant princes who released perfectly good slaves.
*Let’s see what Lee thinks*
Lee nodded to the old woman as she took Amy to his quarters. Soon the feast ended and Lee escaped as soon as possible, to his quarters. Amy rushed up to him in a hug that was long and hard. “Amy! Gosh, I’m glad your safe!” To Lee, Amy looked even prettier then all the beautiful slaves put together.
Amy smiled up at him as she rested her hands on his chest, Lee’s arms still about her waist. “Let’s get home.” Lee whispered as a small smile on his lips. Amy nodded. “But the only question is, how?” She whispered back, looking up at him, both wondering the same things.

Lee shrugged, not knowing what to say. “There’s no place like home?” Amy giggled as Lee acted as Dorothy from The Wizard of Oz. “Nope, didn’t work.” Lee sighed, sitting down on the tall bed, watching Amy pace. “Maybe we have to complete something here, like on other games, we have to complete a level before we move on?” Amy wondered allowed. Lee laughed. “Stop it, you’ll wear a hole in the rug.”
Amy laughed softly and looked out the window. “Have you figured out the date yet?” Amy asked Lee who shook his head. “Nope, sorry.” Amy sighed heavily and shrugged. “Well I hope no one comes looking for us any time soon back at home.” Amy raised an eye brow at Lee’s goofy look. “What?” Lee laughed. “You know you should wear that costume much more often.” Amy pulled a face and tossed a pillow at him. Lee picked up a pillow and tossed it back, turning it into a pillow fight.
>And hour later<
“Let’s go exploring!” Lee said as he jumped up from the table they were at, playing chess. Amy grinned and jumped up as well. “Where to prince?” Lee pulled a face at the name and took her by the hand. “First, let’s go to the left, then to the right, then maybe up the middle and down the center.” Amy laughed as the walked down a hall, peeping their heads in every door, pushing any stones that seemed out of place.
“Hey, look in here!” Amy cried out suddenly and disappeared behind an oaken door, Lee soon following. “Oh wow!” She whispered as Lee whispered. “Golly gosh!” As they walked into the naturally light room, full of windows on one wall, their eyes fell upon many, many floor to ceiling shelves, filled with hundreds of scrolls and hundreds of books. Amy immediately went over to the left side as Lee went to the left. A few minutes later they met in the middle, each having a book tucked under their arm. Amy grinned back at the grinning Lee as they walked over to the very plush chairs to read their findings.
Amy jumped up as she heard voices approaching fast, they sounded very angry. She and Lee put their books aside and raced behind furniture and under tables. The oaken door burst open to revile two red in the face men.
“Stupid oaf! You know very well that the Princess can not live!” “She was guarded by several thousand men!” “You!!!!!!!” The taller man pulled back his arm to hit the other, much shorter and plumper man, then stopped suddenly and dropped his hand. “Consider yourself lucky oaf, the Princess will be housing here tonight, arriving at supper time, you are to make sure she does not feast ever again!” The one called ‘oaf’ nodded and left the room quickly. The one Lee called, tall shanks, strode across the room in three huge strides to look out the windows, his thin arms crossed strictly behind his waist.
Lee and Amy could not see each other from their hiding places but each knew that they would be stuck there for a while unless the man was distracted. Amy picked up a near by book from her hiding spot under the chair and tossed it out the window, making someone below shout out with pain. The all shank was called to the window by the injured man below.

“I swear it! I did nothing of the sort!”
Amy and Lee ran out of the room, ten seconds paced apart. They did not stop running till they closed the door to Lee’s quarters. Amy collapsed on Lee’s bed, breathing hard. “Wow.” Lee fell onto the bed next to her, legs dangling over the side. “Yah, wow.” The two just lay there, pondering what they had over heard. Was the Princess really in danger? What did she do to make these men want to kill her? Was she evil? Or was she like Julius Cesar? Hated by friends because of her position?
Amy and Lee soon sat up and took a drink of the wonderfully delicious water that quenched their thirst within a matter of a few sips. “So what do you think about this princess? Is SHE the reason why we are stuck here?” Amy wondered allowed. Lee shrugged and took another sip. “Perhaps she is, do you think we should try to save her?” Amy nodded. “I think it’s worth looking into, besides, what if we do not save her, we could be stuck here forever.” Lee sighed and nodded as well. “Alright then, it’s a quest to save the princess then!” Amy and Lee raised their cups and gently clinked then together in a toast to their secret mission.
*So then it is a rescue dear Holmes…*
Three hours later, Lee strode about the halls to the main entrance where the princess should arrive. Amy was watching the only other exit, on the west wing of the palace. Lee sighed and knelt quickly in the bushes, wondering what this woman looked like, pretty? Ugly? Sweet? Mean? He sighed, guessing it didn’t really matter as long as he and Amy got home before their parents called the police.
Lee sighed, his mind going to his parents, did time stop at home? Would he ever see it again? Or were he and Amy to forever be trapped in India, trying to get home. His thoughts were interrupted by the sudden sound of horses and wood on stone, the princess arrives.
*Amy’s pov. *
Amy strode around, hands behind her back as she waited in the shadows for the princess to arrive, wishing she and Lee had walky-talkies that they could have used, instead, Amy was left to wait in silence. Then, for after what seemed hours, the sound of approaching people on foot and hurried snaps and whispers were heard not far from Amy’s hiding place.
A group held a case the shook and screamed as if a woman was locked within it’s grasp. “Where is that nit wit woman?! She’s supposed to be here to take the princess to the woods and leave her to the animals!” Amy raised an eye brow, getting an idea. “There you are!” One of the men cried out to Amy as she walked out from behind the shadowed bush, lower face covered up. “We leave the case to you.” The men said and groaned as they set their burden down on a cart. A man hopped up and motioned Amy to sit in the seat next to him.
Amy felt her heart lurching as the man peered at her oddly before making the horses go at a sudden gallop with the snap of the whip above their heads. They were soon deep in the heart of the forest, deeply LOST in the forest. Amy hopped out a few seconds after the man who had gone to pull the case from the cart. Amy quickly picked up a stone and, while the man’s back was turned, she bashed him hard in the back of the head, knocking him, dead? Alive? To the forest floor, blood trickling down the nap of his neck.
Amy started down at the man, shaking, had she killed him? Was she a murderer!? Amy sat down, back against the encased princess, shaking a tears rolled down her cheeks.
“Errp!!!”
Amy jumped to her feet. “Oh yah! Right, sorry.” She looked at the lock only once before she was bashing at it with the same stone she had used to knock down the man. “Argh!” Amy fell back at the box sprang open, the princess jumping to a standing position immediately. “Stupid oaf! Where are we? I wa- Your hurt!” The princess said, jumping down to Amy’s side and frowning at Amy’s scrapped arm. Amy snorted, embarrassed. “It’s only a scrape…” The princess frowned but sat up and out of the dirt on the cart. “Then take me home slave.” She said rather regally. Amy leapt to her feet. “SLAVE! HA! The prince himself freed me, I am no slave!” She said angrily as she jumped up to the driver’s seat. Amy angrily flicked the reins and they were off, galloping away from the way they had come into the forest. ~ARG! HOW_DO_YOU_CONTROL_THIS_THING?!?!?!~ Amy screamed in her mind as the princess screamed loudly. Then, somehow, the trees suddenly stopped and they were headed right for the stables. Amy pulled on the reins, almost to hard, making the horses stop short. “Come on!” Amy said and grabbed the princess’ hand as she jumped down from the bench and raced for the franticly waving Lee.
*Lee’s pov*
The coach had passed right past the palace and stopped a few miles away at noble’s home. Stink. Lee wondered if Amy had had any luck at all yet. What had it been? Two hours now? One and a half at least. Lee decided that no one was coming this way and went to check on Amy.
“Ames?” He whispered as he scoured the shadows where he had hid Amy. “Amy?” After he searched for over twenty more minutes, his heart started panicking. “AMY?!” He called out, not caring who heard by now. Lee looked up, the sound of a girl screaming in the forest. Stink! Lee raced for the forest, heart in his throat. He stopped short as a cart with two girls, both pale from fright, one screaming her head off. “AMES!” He cried out, waving his arms like the airplane guiders. He rushed up to her and grabbed her up in his arms. “Gosh Ames you gave me a scare.” He muttered. Amy quickly pulled from his grasped, rather she WAS pulled from his grasped by the princess who tugged Amy from Lee’s grasp to shake her hard.
Lee didn’t care who the woman was, he pushed the princess from Amy, growling. “Let her be!” He called out before he heard the sounds of guards. Stink. “Do you know them?” Amy asked as the princess looked up hopefully. “Yes I do.” She said waving to a man who tugged her up into a hug kiss and embrace. When she turned around to thank the two slaves, there were gone.

Amy opened her eyes slowly, the twitter of birds reaching her ears. Amy moaned and tried to sit up, but something held her down. Lee lay on top of her, face down in the…Dirt? No! Amy looked around after pushing Lee ever gently from her chest. Where were they? This didn’t look at all like home…
“Cap’in Amity?” A voice called through the trees. “Have yah found ta treasure yet?”
Amy stood up and stepped in front of the sleeping Lee. “I…uhh..”
I still sound the same. Shh! Concentrate Ames, Captain, think…Pirate Captain?
“Cap’in Amity!” A man dressed very much like a pirate, you know, gross hair, dirt patched clothes, missing eye, gold tooth, that sort of thing? Well this guy had tattoos galore. “Aye?” Amy called out, planting her feet apart and putting her hands on her hips. “Yur wanted at the shi- Whose ‘e?” The man pointed his pistol at the sleeping Lee, hand shaky. “He’s the new-“
“Slave?” The man asked hopefully. Amy shrugged. “Cabin Boy.” The man frowned but put his pistol away carefully….in his pants. Amy sighed and looked at Lee. “Take ‘im to the ship man, and put him in my cabin.” The man looked at Amy closely. “Aye, so he’s THAT kind of Cabin Boy…” Amy blushed deeply and shook her head so fiercely her feathered hat fell off. “No!”
“Whatever yer says Cap’in.”
Amy followed the man as he slung Lee roughly over his shoulder and headed to the ship…ah…the glorious ship! 20 gunner no doubt, five ginormic sails and a wonderful color of black and gold. Boot Lass…a lovely name…it needs to change…
“When was this ship built?” Amy asked the man. “Why Cap’in, I thought you knew that the ship is nearly a hundred years old tomorrow.”
Amy frowned. “Do we have paint?” The man laughed and turned to a fellow crew member, just as gross looking. “She asks if we have any paint.” He laughed harshly. “Of course we do!” He said, turning back to Amy.
Amy smiled brightly. “You have a job, finish it.” Mr. Tall and Stinky nodded and bore Lee away to her quarters. A giggle brought Amy’s attention to the starboard side of the ship. A small woman with blonde hair curling into locks her face perfect without blemish. Amy winced at the sight of the VERY scant dress the woman wore with very high heel black boots. She was flirting with a rather gross looking man, slapping his hand away as he tried to touch her.
Great…she even has…Amy shivered …Dimples
-At sunset, in the middle of the Pacific-
Amy leaned against the railing on the stern, looking out at the sea set aflame by the setting sun. Lee soon joined her at the wheel, smiling like a love struck dummy. Amy looked at him, eye brow raised. “Umm…” She waved her hand in front of Lee’s face. He didn’t even blink. Amy laughed and flicked his ear. “Earth to Lee?”
Lee jumped away from Amy, rubbing his ear. “What is it? Gosh…Ouch..” Lee glared playful daggers at Amy who shrugged. “Found love on a wing?” Lee blushed and looked away. “I…have no idea what you mean.” Lee said, blushing rose petals.
Amy laughed and shook her head. “Your pathetic Lee..” She sighed and walked to her quarters where she picked through her tiny library, trying to ignore the sick feeling in her stomach. Stupid Lee, always getting into trouble, THAT sort of trouble.
That evening a storm rolled over the ship like a roller on dough. It flattened sails, masts, some railing, even a man who was soon lost to sight and ear in the rolling gray waters. “Hard to port! Batten down the hatches! Lay anchor!” Good thing she had watched all those pirate movies, though Amy had no idea what ‘Hard to port’ would do. “Tie yourselves down!” This one she had leaned on ‘Treasure Planet’.
Amy tied one end of her rope the main mast, then the other end around herself. The men followed her, though none would think the string called rope could withstand the blade called the sea.
“We’re not going to last Cap’in!” One of her men cried out as a huge wave washed over them.
Amy remembered no more.

Amy’s sleep was taken from her by a few sharp slaps on the face. Slowly she came to and found herself looking up at a very dark skinned man, his nose inches from her own.
“HIEEE!” She yelped and quickly scrambled backwards.
She looked up again as she bumped into a pair of legs, this time looking up at a white man’s face. She yelped again and leapt to her feet.
“Oiee…” She muttered, not liking the face of the white man as he walked forward.
“Seize this…pirate.” He spat her title out as if it were a rather nasty piece of meat.
“Oh boy.” Amy muttered, backing away. Then turning, she raced hard, kicking up dirt, not going very far before she was tackled and held against the sand.
Amy struggled, glaring up at Mr. Foofoo Accent. Mr. Foofoo A. hit Amy against the forehead hard with the butt of his gun, and yet again everything was black for Amy.
*Lee's Pov.*
"But WAIT!" Lee glared at his jailor as the door slammed shut.
"Shudddup you scurvy dogs!" Mr. Death Warmed Over growled and stalked away.
Lee sighed and turned around to look at his surroundings. It looked like his was in a long house of some sort, no windows, even the fire place was gratted up. Beds lined the walls, it looked like it was just him and the crew from the ship. So where was Amy?
*Amy's Pov.*
Amy slowly woke, a rough cot under her. She moaned and touched her head lightly, wincing at the cut.
"Stink and double stink..." She muttered, standing up slowly and looking around her cell...her six foot by six foot cell....no window....barely a stub of a candle for light..perfect.
She nearly leapt out of her skin when a rough knock on the door sounded.
"Yur food misus Amity." A tiny, stooped man walked in and offered Amy her food as if she were some goddess.
"I...no thanks..." She wrinkled her nose at the maggety food. "I'm not hungry....anymore." She said, swollowing to try to keep what little she had in ehr belly down.
"M'lady must eat, tis bein' yur last meal, since they be hangin' you tomarrow at dawn."
Amy nodded slowly, not really suprised, and took the bowl, but set it aside.
"Might I ask where my-e- me crew be lairin'?" Amy asked, trying to sound gruff and look scarry.
"Du-duhay be in tah tah...tah mass cell in tah coutyu'd." Amy nodded slowly.
"Might there be any visitin' them then?" She asked, still struggling.
"I...Me be thinkin' no...unless...." He rubbed his thunb against his finger tips greedily.
Amy bit her lip. "Promise me you won't open it till I'm back here." She said quietly, holding up her pouch. THe man leapt for it greedily.
"Yes! Yes misus! Yes! I be promisin'"
-An hour later-
Amy strode confedently into the mass cell that Lee and the others were lounging in. They had a week till they were to swing off the branch. Lee and the others all jumped up, talking in loud voices when they saw Amy, till she put her finger to her lips. SHe strode to her parret and whispered to it words. She smiled as the bird flew out the gratted door and started to cause chaos amongst the guards, leading them clear. She strode to the gratted fire place and pulled at the bars, which easily gave way, having been pried and poked at all their lives. She put the bars under a bed, tipped her feathered hat to her crew and Lee, then strode to the door, knocked, and was led out, all in silence.
Lee blinked, looking first at the door, then the fireplace.....a break out....she wanted them to break out! The crew were slowly getting the idea too and started to make rope from the blankets and a graple hook from the grate. Lee quickly joined in, ignoring the blubbering Miss. Dimples. "I"M GUNNU DIEEEE!" Lee swallowed a laugh as a man bound and gagged the histarical Miss. Dimples before whispering for Lee to climb the chimney and secure the grapple, which Lee promptly did. He sat on the roof and shook the rope hard before pulling it up then dropping it down as a signal to the others that it was okay to climb.
An hour later, Lee and the others were soaking in the river, newly bought cloths on the shore. Everyone was rejoycing, drinking, singing. He too was very glad he had escaped.
He laughed and let himself sun dry as it sunk into in the sky, setting the water ablaze.
On the other side of the island the gallows were being set up for the early hanging just as dawn set the sky rosey. Lee sighed wishing Amy was here...wait...why hadn't Amy come with them!? Lee sat up quickly.
"What about the Captin?"
Everything fell silent as if death had rolled in and caught away everyone's breath. Yes...what ABOUT the Captain that was so dear to everyone's heart? Yes, what was there to do?
The navogator called everyone close and whispered their plan...
